Greetings Classmates!

Just to be sure that we have reached all the classmates we possibly can, we are sending out in smaller groups the reunion information once again in case the info went to your spam folder. Due to our efforts to reach classmates that are interested in attending the reunion, if you will commit to attend, the payment deadline will be extended one more week. September 22, 2021 is the last date we can accept money. Call Vera (Johnson) Hollier (337)912-4938 or Katie (Lavergne) Baldassari (281)796-8206 to commit today!

To recap the events, Friday, October 15, 2021 we will participate in the homecoming parade. If you will be joining us on our float, PLEASE give us a call so that we will be able to accommodate everyone. Join us at Vera and Jerry Hollier's house (910 Ruth Street) to decorate our float. We will begin decorating at 11:00 a.m. Bring your candy and/or throws and join in all the fun!

After the parade, a pre-game gathering will be held at Vera and Jerry's before heading to the reception and football game. Typically, the school has a reception for the classes being honored before the game. At that time, they usually give out 2 free tickets to the alumni being honored.

Saturday, October 16, 2021, our main event will take place at The TreeHouse at Oak Crossing (5656 Nelson Road, Lake Charles, LA). There will be a significant assortment of heavy hors d'oeuvres pleasing to everyone. A cash bar will be available for those who may want to partake an adult beverage. We will also have a DJ playing our favorite tunes from the 70's.

The time for the reunion party is 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The cost is $50 PER person. Please send personal check or money order made out to: CLASS OF 1971 REUNION. Your payment should be sent to Vera Hollier (910 Ruth Street, Sulphur, LA 70663).

Also, we are taking orders for t-shirts. The cost of the shirts is $15 each for sizes S through XL. For sizes 2X and 3X the cost is $16. If you are interested, please send your check or money order made out to CLASS OF 1971 REUNION. You may use one check for both if you wish. Your t-shirt will not be ordered unless payment is received. If additional information needed, contact Denise (Vincent)Denison (337) 802-2662.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE reach out to anyone you know in our class that you may be in contact with and encourage them to attend. 50 years is a significant milestone and unfortunately quite a few of our classmates weren't destined to be with us. So let us get together to enjoy fellowship and honor their memory. Geaux Tors!

50th Reunion :)



Greetings SHS Class of 1971!

Our reunion is fast approaching. Please note that tickets for the main event are pre-sale only. No money will be collected at the door. We want this to be the "best" one yet. The venue where our reunion is being held is absolutely beautiful.
