Claremore, Oklahoma had a population estimated around 19,580 in corporate limits, per the Census Bureau in 2020. We are the county seat of Rogers County, located in Northeastern Oklahoma's "Green Country". According to the Census Bureau, the 2020 population of Rogers County was estimated at 94,433.
Rogers County, created in 1907 from the Cherokee Nation Coo-wee-Scoowee District, was named for Clement V. Rogers, a member of the Constitutional Convention and the father of Will Rogers, "The Cherokee Kid."

Claremore is easily accessible to major highways, railroads, airports, Port of Catoosa and the Oologah Lake. State hwy 66, the legendary "Route 66," runs north and south through Claremore, and State Hwy 20 and State Hwy 88 also run through Claremore.
Downtown Tulsa is 25-30 minutes to the southwest via the Will Rogers Turnpike, I-44. Claremore is best known for the World known humorist, philosopher, movie star, roper, and writer - Will Rogers, America's most famous Indian cowboy born in 1879, north of Claremore in Oologah.
